The Autism Group - New Free Parent Toolkit Dates and TAG at Home Visit Service

The Autism Group - Free parent training toolkits

These are open to parents whose son or daughter either has a diagnosis, or is awaiting an autism assessment and live in East Berkshire.

To book, please email Tricia@theautismgroup.org.uk. Places are offered on a first come basis. Booking is essential!

Mon 15th October 2018 - Young Children and Autism. Practical tips and ideas. Suitable for parents and carers of children up to the age of around 7.

Time: 10am to 12 noon, At: Burnham Park Hall Windsor Lane Burnham SL1 7HR

Wed 31st October 2018 - Understanding Behaviour - Making Sense of Sensory Differences. Suitable for parents and carers of children of primary or secondary school age.

Time: 10am to 12 noon, at: Braywick Heath Nurseries 41 Braywick Road Maidenhead SL6 1DX (Next to Toby Carvery)

Tues 6th November 2018 - Managing Emotions. Suitable for parents and carers of children of primary or secondary school age.

Time: 6.30 to 8.30pm, at: Bracknell Open Learning Centre Rectory Lane Bracknell RG12 7GR

Wed 14th November 2018 - Girls on the spectrum – missed and misunderstood. Suitable for parents and carers of girls of primary or secondary school age.

Time: 6.30 to 8.30pm, at: Burnham Park Hall Windsor Lane Burnham SL1 7HR

Wed 5th December 2018 Adolescence. Suitable for parents and carers of young people aged ten upwards.

The Autism Group @ Home Service

This free service offers 1:1 support to parents and carers of individuals up to the age of 25 who are either on the ASD diagnostic pathway awaiting assessment or who already have a diagnosis (new or a while ago). It aims to buid parental knowledge, skills and confidence to support a family member. See flyer below for more information.
